Working with BP Composites Ltd. line of GFRP products is easy and hassle-free. The following general requirements and recommendations are provided for TUF-BAR™ usage and installation

• Cutting is done easily and quickly with the use of a grinding cutter, diamond-bladed chop saw or hacksaw. Shears are not used with TUF-BAR™
• For added support and to facilitate placement, plastic or non-corrosive chairs should be used.
• Vinyl coated tie wire or zip ties can be used to tie bars together. They can also be used to extend lengths.
• A general rule of 40 x Bar Diameter is required for splice lengths. Always verify these specifications with the design codes suitable to your application.
• The use of mechanical fasteners or welded splices are not possible with TUF-BAR™
• No patching or corrosion treatment is needed on cut ends of TUF-BAR™
